Michael Burke is a full-time professional photographer in the Los Angeles area. In business since 1996, he has photographed social and première events in the film and music industry. Today, weddings make up the majority of his work. He has a degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco but it was whilst working in Japan that he became passionate about photography. He returned to his native country England, to begin studying at the London School of Printing and later finished a two-year education at the Brooks Institute of Photography. He went on to work with world-renowned photographers Douglas Kirkland and David La Chapelle.. This involved work on major motion picture films, along with stories of fashion and beauty for such magazines as People, Paris Match, and Vogue.
